1.3 Provision of the website and creation of log files
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the device (e.g. computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) used to access it.

Purpose of the data processing
The temporary (automated) storage of data is necessary for the course of a website visit in order to enable delivery of the online shop in the form of a website. The storage and processing of personal data also takes place to maintain the compatibility of our website for as many visitors as possible and to combat misuse and troubleshooting. For this purpose, it is necessary to log the technical data of the accessing computer in order to be able to react as early as possible to display errors, attacks on our IT systems and/or errors in the functionality of our website. We also use the data to optimise the website and to generally ensure the security of our IT systems.

Section 2 - Special functions of the website
Our online shop offers you various functions for booking our offers and for maintaining the data you entrust to us. When using the user account, personal data is also collected, processed and stored. We explain below what happens to this data:
2.1. Registration area, login area and user menu for exhibitors
What personal data is collected and to what extent is it processed?
When registering a new user account, we collect the following data: Account type, title, first name, surname, company, order number, VAT ID, E-mail address, password, address, city, zip code, country and any different delivery address data. We use the e-mail address entered during registration to verify the authenticity of the e-mail address used during registration. When you log in to your user account, we require the access data you have entered, such as your e-mail address and password as well as the customer number we sent to you.

Purpose of the data processing
You have the option of using a separate login area on our website. So that we can check your authorisation to use the protected area, you must enter your login data (e-mail address or user name, customer number and password) in the corresponding form. We use this data to create a personal user account and to provide you with the option of logging in at a later date. By providing the user account, users can manage the data entered and settings for notifications and information. We also use the data to reset the account if a password is forgotten and to grant users access again. Users can also view and manage the bookings they have made by logging into the user menu. Necessity of providing personal data
The use of the login area and the provision of the data required for registration in our online shop is contractually required for the use of the protected area.
